D4D Institute held a dynamic session with students from the Faculty of Law, focusing on the verifiko.info platform and the critical importance of media literacy for young people.

Key discussion points included:

• Freedom of Expression vs. Abuse: Where does free speech end and legal responsibility begin? We explored the fine line between freedom of expression and its misuse for defamation, disinformation, and hate speech.

• Media Literacy as Protection: We discussed how media literacy serves as an essential tool for identifying and combating information disorder in the digital space, as well as ensuring online safety.

• Legal Perspective: Students analyzed media law and the importance of fact-checking in protecting the public interest.
