This week, Democracy for Development (D4D) visited the Vocational High School “Feriz Guri dhe Vëllezërit Çaka” in Kaçanik with an invitation from the Peace Corps Kosovo to present the Verifiko.info platform

During the session, students were introduced for the first time to the concept of disinformation, as well as other forms of information disorder that they may encounter daily online. Through interactive discussions, they learned the difference between disinformation and misinformation and were introduced to fact-checkers operating in Kosovo.

The discussion with students once again highlighted the importance of media literacy in schools and the need to empower young people as responsible internet users.
