The D4D Institute has launched on the 24th of October 2023 two monitoring reports on Information Disorders in Online and Social Media during the months of July and August, for which panelists from the field of media and civil society were invited.

After the presentation of the findings during the months of July and August, a discussion took place where the narratives that prevailed during these two months were commented on. Among the topics with special emphasis in the discussion was the concern that there is not enough work being done in the field of media literacy, it is important to differentiate between fair news and those with information disorder.

Moreover, the language of hatred and misogyny towards women in politics must be fought by giving equal space as much as it is given to men in televised discussions and debates.
