During the Regional Conference “Empowered Women-Empower Women”, held on the 14th of May, 2024 Democracy for Development Institute awarded three best articles in support of women’s access to employment, in the framework of the Call for Journalism Awards – announced by D4D on the 11th of April, this year.

• The first place was awarded to the journalist Besian Beha, with the article “KSF without any woman from the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities”.
• The second place was awarded to the journalists Mediana Halili, and Jeta Xharra with the article “The Radio Television of Men”
• The third place was awarded to the journalist Agnesa Qorri, with the article “The efforts that are not noticed”

This conference was realized in the framework of the project “Untapping Development: Increasing Women’s Access to Employment” supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina.
