On 5th of May, has been held a roundtable in Therandë municipality on the topic “What do we expect in future elections”. This table was organized in cooperation with youth NGO “Shtëpia e Felbahut”, inviting representatives of political parties, representatives of non-governmental organizations, school principals and other actors involved in the electoral process. Participants discussed the problems of the electoral process and the challenges that accompany it, noting a series of irregularities. Problems with voter lists, address system, penalties for manipulators of elections and electoral reforms were the main topics which were in focus of this debate and also recommendations were pointed.

This meeting is open to citizens and aims to discuss the steps so far related with electoral reform and to elaborate on possible changes to the electoral law. D4D and the Reforma Forum presented their recommendation on electoral reform that should be implemented to improve the electoral process.
