Focus Group with “Sami Frasheri” High School

27.05.2025

What should a media education platform look like to attract the attention of high school students? What content do they consider important and attractive?

These were some of the main questions of the focus group discussion organized by Democracy for Development (D4D) with young people from high schools.
During the discussion, participants shared their thoughts on how they consume information, what makes them click on a news item, and how they would like to be represented in the media space. From the importance of fact-checking, to creative content formats such as short videos, infographics, and interactive stories – young people clearly showed that they have fresh ideas and specific demands for the media they want to follow.
This activity is carried out with the support of “Support to the Civil Society in Kosovo”project, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency.
