Democracy for Development (D4D) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Independent Media Commission (IMC) to enhance the capacity of local media outlets in fact checking standards and reporting.

This partnership marks an important step forward in strengthening the integrity and transparency of the media in Kosovo. The partnership will focus on the adoption of the values of EU reporting and fact checking standards, to ensure accurate and balanced reporting.

Together with IMC, we will identify and address gaps in local media coverage – with a particular focus on real-time reporting and fact-checking practices.

This agreement is carried out with the support of “Support to the Civil Society in Kosovo”; project, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency.
