Yesterday, Democracy for Development (D4D) Institute organized Agora discussion in municipality of Mitrovica. This discussion aimed to gather citizens of Mitrovica to create debate between them and their representatives at the local levels.

In this discussion, the speakers were Jeton Zeneli, Municipal Councilor from Lëvizja Vetëvendosje, Majlinda Kurti, Municipal Councilor from Partia Demokratike e Kosovës and Oltion Ahmeti, Municipal Councilor from Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës. During this discussion, were raised different issues such as participation of citizens in public hearings, the realization of citizens’ requests and the support of citizens’ initiatives as part of good governance at the local level.
