This time, we returned to the Hasan Prishtina Economic High School in Mitrovica, where we engaged in an active discussion with the new generation of students regarding media literacy and the opportunities offered by the Verifiko.info platform.

A special focus of the conversation was online hate speech. By analyzing concrete examples from the platform, the students demonstrated great maturity in addressing this phenomenon. One of the most interesting conclusions from the discussion was the students’ stance that freedom of expression should not serve as a shield for those who misuse this liberty to hurt or attack others.

Through the Verifiko platform, we aim for students to not only identify fake news but also to understand digital ethics and the consequences of harmful narratives in the public sphere..
