Another productive weekend ends with youth forums from political parties.
D4D successfully completed a productive training with 26 participants from the youth forums of different political parties. The purpose of the training was to develop their skills in effective communication with the audience, focusing attention on identifying specific groups for campaigns and strategies to improve their appearance to voters in the upcoming local elections. Moreover, they had the opportunity to develop in public speaking, during electoral gatherings or television appearances.
Participants were divided into four mixed groups to encourage cooperation between individuals from different political parties. Each group had the task to select three causes that they considered important for the citizens and to develop electoral campaign strategies based on these causes, which match the needs of their municipalities.
The training aimed to empower youth involved in politics, especially in public communication skills during events and on social media posts. We look forward to see how they will apply the lessons learned to engage with their communities and prepare for the upcoming local elections.
This activity was implemented in the framework of “Fostering Youth Participation in Political Processes”, supported by National Endowment for Democracy
