The principles of good governance and standards of transparency were presented during the information session, which this time was held at the Municipal Assembly of Mitrovica, with the participation of municipal assembly members from Mitrovica and Vushtrria.
The primary aim of this activity was to provide practical information on the principles and standards of good governance, as well as to introduce the platform qeverismire.info – a tool that facilitates the work of local councilors and increases the transparency of municipal processes.
During the discussion with the councilors, it was emphasized that citizen participation in public hearings remains low, the law is not always applied equally, there is a lack of transparency at different stages, monitoring of municipal decisions is low, and the addressing of citizens’ requests remains unsatisfactory.
