Strengthening Dialogue for Good Governance at the Local Level!The principles of good governance and standards of transparency were presented during the information session, which this time was held at the Municipal Assembly of Gjakova, with the participation of municipal council members from Gjakova, Rahovec, and Malisheva.

It was a pleasure to welcome the Mayor of Gjakova, Mr. Ardian Gjini, with whom we discussed concrete practices to enhance transparency and accountability in local decision-making, as well as tools that support the proper execution of officials’ duties.

The primary aim of this activity was to provide practical information on the principles and standards of good governance, as well as to introduce the platform qeverismire.info – a tool that facilitates the work of local councilors and increases the transparency of municipal processes.

During the discussion with councilors, it was emphasized that public hearings constitute a key mechanism for more open, inclusive, and citizen-centered local decision-making.
