Women assembly members and young women from political subjects, today are participating in the training “Political Activism and Good Governance”, which is being held via ‘Google Meet’ online platform.
The purpose of the training is to improve women assembly members and young girls in politics, with additional knowledge about: Political Activism and Good Governance, myths and facts related to women and corruption, the requirements of the law on gender equality for political participation of women at the local and central level, the consequences of corruption for women and the importance of women inclusion in politics.
This training is being held within the framework of the project “Beyond numerical parity: Empowerment of women assembly members in local governance”, including the Municipality of Prishtina, Prizren, Mitrovia, Istog and Kamenica.
