On 16 February 2016, the topic of the Tuesday Salon was: Prejudices aside: How come the vocational schools are less attractive than the university considering that they can be more beneficial?

Opening remarks were delivered by: Valbona Fetiu-Mjeku, Head of Vocational Education Training Division at MEST, Binak Morina, VET expert at GIZ and Majlinda Rizvanolli-Bajraktari, Skills Development Expert at EYE Project. Panelists said that it is up to us all to slowly distance ourselves from the idea of seeing those devoted to pursuing vocational education and training as people with a lower social status. Vocational education and training is the priority of the most developed countries for years now.
