Youth and Gender Issues: How are gender relations being perceived among young people?

On October 18, the Tuesday Salon in Ferizaj was held on the theme: Youth and Gender Issues: How are gender relations being perceived among young people?

The briefings were made by: Ibrahim Musliu, a sociologist who said that gender equality is considered equal opportunity to enjoy all their rights and to put in service their individual potentials in the development of society and to benefit from Equal to the achievements of this development. Arbënora Shefkiu, Juriste stressed that despite the fact that the law foresees equal treatment, both women and men see that this right is not satisfactory in practice. Valentina Abazi, Initiative for Progress INPO said that there are stereotypes about gender roles which often discriminate women in the labor market and participation in public space.

The moderation of this salon was made by Dashurije Ahmeti, while the editorial was written by Diellza Bakija.
