On Tuesday, March 29, the topic of the Salon was: What type of force/army do we have money and mandate for? Does the current law allow upgrading and maintaining an effective force?

Opening remarks were delivered by: Dominic-Haydn Braithwaite, Director, NATO Advisory Team, Ministry of the Kosovo Security Force, Faruk Geci, MKSF, and Plator Avdiu, Researcher, KCSS. The panelists emphasized that the transformation of the KSF into the AFC only starts with the change and completion of the legal basis for this force, which is only one of the segments that will later be followed by the change of structure, advancement in capacities and later with the training And staffing.

The Salon was moderated by Besfort Rrecaj, President, Kosovo Euro-Atlantic Association, and the op-ed was written by Donika Emini, Researcher, KCSS.
