On Monday, 29th January 2018, the Salon in municipalities was held in Gjakova on the topic: “Social Dialogue: Time for decent work agenda”.
The informative and encouraging opening was made by: Xhenisare Këpuska, Centre for Regional Employment, Municipality of Gjakova; Fatos Axhemi, Executive Director, Jakova Innovation Center and Arbër Lleshi, Executive Director, Bonevet Gjakova. The participants and the panelists discussed the need to integrate the decent work agenda in Kosovo’s labor relations, highlighting the discouragement that the neglect of workers’ rights causes in fulfilling their potential. Also, the lack of information of young people about the role of trade union organizations as promoters of their rights at work was thoroughly discussed.
