Social Dialogue: Time for decent work agenda

On Tuesday, 30th January 2018, the Salon in municipalities was held in Mitrovica on the topic: “Social Dialogue: Time for decent work agenda”.

The informative and encouraging opening was made by: Florentina Hajdari, Menaxhere e Programit, OJQ Mundësia, and Bukurije Brezhnica, civil society activist. The participants and the panelists discussed about the work conditions in the private and public sector in the Municipality of Mitrovica, the shared challenges and concerns of the labor force in this municipality. Furthermore, the salon discussion revolved around the role of the labor unions in improving the workers conditions as well as the unfavorable position of women in the labor market, and the repercussions of the lack of the respect of the decent work agenda in the demotivation of women to look for jobs.

This salon was moderated by Valëza, D4D Institute, and the editorial was written by Bukurije Brezhnica.
