On Tuesday, April 12, the topic of the Salon was :Is publishing data on public spending on politicians’ interest?
Opening remarks were delivered by: Ramadan Ilazi, Deputy Minister, Ministry of European Integration, Georges Labrèche, Co-founder, Open Data Kosovo, and Vehbi Kajtazi, Journalist. Panelists said that the assessment of whether the document is public, secret or contains personal data is also the biggest dilemma faced by Kosovo state officials who are paid to provide access to documents and public data.
The salon was moderated by Petrit Zogaj, Executive Director, FOL, and the op-ed was written by Kreshnik Gashi, Editor, Justice in Kosovo.
