To discuss about this topic were invited: Behar Hyseni, Acting Director of the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sports, Erëblina Haxhiu, the head of the Local Youth Action Council (KVRL), and Sherafedin Vranja, Director of Dardana Press.

Behar Hyseni from the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sports stated that the youth of Kamenica didn’t have rights and their rights were not respected, and they do not lack information.

However, it was emphasized that during the last years, three actions have been taken that have enlivened the activities of young people in Kamenica. It was mentioned that until two years ago the Youth Council was non-functional, so young people didn’t have space to develop their activities.

Whereas, Sherafedin Vranja stated that institutions and civil society should be a bridge for young people to create opportunities for them to participate in various activities for them to participate in various activities and advocate more for their rights. It was also stated that the participation of young people in political parties would be a good opportunity for them to address their concerns and ideas, as well as work on the direction of youth policies.

Meanwhile, Erëblina Haxhiu, the head of the Local Youth Action Council, mentioned that, they as a council are working to create a space where young people have a place where they can spend the day with the activities of the council such as trainings, conferences and various discussions. The reason why the council should be activated is because of the departure of young people from cafeterias.
