In addition to including women in election lists, it is of utmost importance to involve women throughout the election process. Over the years, D4D Institute has advocated for a greater inclusion of women as members of Municipal Election Commissions, Polling Station Committees, as trainers of Municipal Election Commissions, and as Technical Staff and Administrative Officers.
This infographic shows the number of women and men involved in the early elections of 2021 and in early elections of 2019. We observed that in all positions the number of men was significantly higher than women, except for trainers of Municipal Election Commissions, which made the difference in these elections.
D4D Institute encourages Political Entities and the Central Election Commission to undertake joint and coordinated efforts to ensure a balanced gender representation in Election Management Bodies and administrative bodies. Inclusion of women in the election process not only ensures compliance with the fundamental rights of both genders, it also brings a number of benefits to all and contributes to better governance.

Uključivanje žena u organe za sprovođenje izbora
Sem uključivanja na izborne liste, veoma je važno da žene budu zastupljene i duž celokupnog izbornog ciklusa. Institut D4D duž godina zagovara što veći stepen uključivanja žena kao članica opštinskih izbornih komisija, u biračke odbore, u svojstvu trenera opštinskih izbornih komisija, ali i u sastav tehničkog osoblja i administrativnih službenica.
Ovaj infografik predstavlja broj žena i muškaraca na prevremenim izborima 2021. godine i na prevremenim izborima 2019. godine. Na svim ovim funkcijama primećujemo da je broj muškaraca bio mnogo veći u odnosu na broj žena, sem njihove uključenosti u svojstvu trenera opštinskih izbornih komisija, što je na ovim izborima napravilo razliku.
Institut D4D podstiče političke subjekte i Centralnu izbornu komisiju da u neprestanoj saradnji i koordinaciji rade na uravnotežavanju rodne zastupljenosti u organima za sprovođenje izbora ali i u sklopu administrativnog osoblja. Uključivanje žena u izborni ciklus, sem što obezbeđuje poštovanje osnovnih prava oba pola, donosi brojne koristi svima i doprinosi dobrom upravljanju.
