The self-isolation in homes due to COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in increased burden on women in doing housework – unpaid work, and an emphasis on gender inequality in the family and the labor market in general. Approximately 1 in 4 men (23%) in Kosovo have not spent any hour on housework in the past months during the pandemic.
