Good Governance in Municipalities

During these last two years, Democracy for Development (D4D) institute has been engaged in the promotion of good local and central governance through implemented activities within the framework of the “Increased participation for good governance” project, financially supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo.

To achieve a better cooperation between citizens and local governance, five (5) videos were produced with citizens and mayors of the Municipality of Vushtrri, Klina, Kacanik, Ranilug and Partes. Each video presents a principle of good governance, with concrete examples of works realized by the municipalities.

The purpose of these videos is the promotion of good work realized by the municipalities and the approximation of citizen with their elected representatives in the last local elections in 2017. Moreover, these videos include important information for citizens of Kosovo, about their right to request transparency, accountability and inclusiveness from governing institutions.

These videos were produced within the framework of “Increased participation for good governance” project, implemented by Democracy for Development (D4D) institute in partnership with Center for De-politization of Kosovar Society (CDKD), financially supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
