Call for CSO’s to host internship and exchange

05.04.2016

PEER 2 PEER Learning is a Democracy for Development-D4D project in partnership with Center for Kosovo Society Depolitization-CDKD, funded by the USAID, through the ADVANCING KOSOVO TOGETHER – LOCAL SOLUTION PROGRAM.

The Peer 2 Peer project is a 10 month project that aims to increase inter-ethnic cooperation and interaction, primarily between the majority and minority communities in Kosovo. The goal is to increase the cooperation and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and best practices thus creating opportunity for sustained organizational collaboration. The project is designed to build capacity and cooperation of civil society members and manage internship exchange between CSO’s.

The project is seeking applications from Kosovo civil society organizations to host interns for a period of six weeks. It is expected that 30 interns from all Kosovo communities will be placed in local CSOs. CSOs that currently implement USAID funded programs are encouraged to express their interest in hosting interns.

It is assumed that these internships and exchanges will lay the groundworks for CSO’s in fostering cooperation and interaction between majority and minority communities and strengthen the relations between the CSO’s across ethnic communities. The host organizations will work closely with D4D and CDKD to enable the interns a positive learning environment.

All registered CSO’s who believe can offer:

– a positive learning environment,

– new skills,

– networking opportunities,

– and a multilingual working environment (Albanian, Serb and English).

Should send a letter of interest, along with certificate of registration to [email protected], by April 22nd,2016, at 16:00 hrs.
