Our weekly Salon took place on Tuesday, 24th of October 2017 with the topic: “What did we see in local elections? Development programs or routine of recurrence?”
Opening remarks were delivered by: Albulena Sadiku, Balkan Investigative Reporting Network – BIRN; Veton Mujaj, Syri i Vizionit and Artan Murati, Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI). The panelists emphasized that this campaign was dominated by promises that did not offer concrete solutions. The electoral process as such has gone well even though there were problems, but which did not affect the outcome.
This Salon was moderated by Rasim Alija, D4D Institute and the op-ed was written by Dorentina Thaqi, Zëri Daily newspaper.
