Tuesday Salon: To what extent are the official languages used in Kosovo?

On May 31st, the topic of the Salon was:

‘To what extent are the official languages used in Kosovo? Are they treated equally? How is the quality of legal translation? How do communities consider the importance of other official languages in Kosovo?’

Opening remarks were delivered by: Slavisa Mladenovic, Language Commissioner, Office of the Prime Minister, Office of the Prime Minister, Remzije Istrefi, Prof.dr. International Human Rights Law, Faculty of Law- University of Pristina, and Robin Budd, Second secretary political, British Embassy in Prishtina.

The op-ed and the moderation were done by Igor Zlatojev, Senior Interpreter/Translator at Trankos Consulting.

This Salon was hosted in collaboration with Office of the Language Commissioner.
