On November 1, 2017, Youth Salon in municipalities was held with the youth of Istog on the topic: How much would the presence of the psychologist help the teaching process in schools?

Opening speeches were held by: Valentina Alihajdaraj, Official at the Department of Education in the Municipality of Istog; Kosovare Maraj, Psychologist and Burbuq Ademaj, Psychologist. Panelists and Salon participants agreed that the psychologists have a key role on having a desired teaching process. This is because, in order for students to be successful in learning, they should be committed and not involved in problems. The psychologist has the opportunity, through his conversations and techniques, to learn the reasons why he is not learning and and is involved in problems. Participants required  that the number of psychologists in schools should be increased because the demand is too high and those psychologists who are can not afford the requirements they have.

This salon was moderated by Majlinda Kelmendi, Center of Innovation and the editorial was written by Fjollë Berisha, Journalist.

This Salon is organized under the Young Salon project, funded by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
