On April 19th, the topic of the Salon was: ‘How much does it cost to create a job?’
Opening remarks were delivered by: Besnik Bislimi, Professor, AUK, David T. King, Chief of Party, USAID Kosovo EMPOWER Private Sector, and Ramiz Kelmendi, founder of ‘ELKOS’. Panelists stressed that when it comes to the possibility of creating new jobs by referring to expert analysis in the field of economy, the cost of creating a workplace both in the public and private sector seems to be high. To create a job, the government needs approximately 8,000 euros.
The salon was moderated by Alban Zogaj, Executive Director, Riinvest Institute and the editorial was written by Shkelqim Hysenaj.
