On Tuesday, April 26th, the topic of the Salon in Prizren was: “Conflict between generations: How much is the tension in the family on dealing with youth independence with the traditional rules?”

Opening remarks were delivered by: Mybexhele Zhuri, Coordinator for Human Rights Unit in Prizren, Lirije Lokaj, Psychologists; and Prek Memaj, Youth Action Council in Prizren. Panelists stressed that it is important to understand the reasons why there are generational problems. Firstly, because these conflicts also enable the growth and development of children.

The salon was moderated by Nora Arapi- Krasniqi, Architect; Regional Center for Cultural Heritage, and the op-ed was written by Elmedina Baxhaku, Observer, Ec ma Ndryshe.

This salon is organized in cooperation with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports.
