Social Media Monitoring During the 2025 Local Elections – Week Three

During the monitoring period from September 27 to October 3, a total of 18 cases of inappropriate language by representatives of political subjects on social media were recorded. Among them:
· 12 cases are related to hate speech,
· 1 case of personal bullying,
· 4 cases of spreading disinformation,
· 1 other case classified differently.

From September 1 to October 3, a total of 127 cases of inappropriate language towards others were identified.

During the monitoring of 3 analysts on social media, from September 1, 2025, to October 3, a total of 55 cases were identified:
· 51 contained hate speech,
· 1 disinformation,
· 2 bullying,
· 1 call for violence.

Of these 55 cases, women were targeted 6 times.

The data shows that challenges in online political communication remain present. The monitoring was conducted on the main platforms used by parties and candidates: official pages, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
