Headlines are an effective tool to change the public’s perception and the understanding of an event. By combining event of 1 country with another, the headline presented, spreads disinformation that plays with the reader’s emotions, which brings uncertainty regarding the safety in Kosovo. This type of sensational headlines can fuel the existing ethnic tensions and spread unnecessary panic among people.
