Through interactive workshops and online modules, students developed essential research skills to navigate digital media and verify information online using tools like verifiko.info.

By applying a practical fact-checking process: 1. checking publication dates, 2. verifying reliable sources, and 3. researching visual context, students successfully identified and flagged recycled news stories that used outdated events to create a false impression of ongoing threats.
