This Wednesday, on 29th October 2014, around 10 membership based organizations (MBOs) representatives of the people with disabilities, like “Down Syndrome Kosova”, “Handikos”, association of the deaf people of Kosovo, “Autizmi”, etc. were gathered to discuss and harmonize their demands in front of the institutional and political representatives. One of the demands was for every school to have a legal caretaker or assistant for the children with special needs. Also, they demanded an adequate representative for the people with disabilities in the Assembly of Kosovo, who would make sure that their demands are being taken into consideration.
