Kosovo is facing major challenges in rural development, employment, and migration.
🔹 1/3 of rural residents have already left their homes for cities or abroad.
🔹 Limited childcare and public transport prevent many women from entering the workforce.
🔹 Lack of skills is causing businesses to struggle to fill vacancies in sectors like agriculture, trade, and hospitality.
Solutions lie in two essential interventions:
✅ Expanding access to childcare services.
✅ Investing in reliable public transport.
📢 With these changes, more women can join the workforce, businesses will thrive, and migration pressures will ease.
The path forward is clear: inclusive services are the key to stronger communities and a sustainable future.
