The division of parental responsibility for taking care of their children during the pandemics

Despite the fact that home isolation as a result of pandemic causes women to be overwhelmed with childcare and reducing their access to paid work, field research shows that 28% of men and women equally shared their responsibilities for childcare during the three months of lockdown.

Yet, 24% of respondents consider that mainly only women have taken care of children during this time.
