On January 26th, the topic of the Tuesday Salon was: Who are the authoritative voices for Kosovo youth and does it engage critically with them?’

Opening remarks were delivered by: Gëzim Selaci, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sociology, UP, Besa Luzha, from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and Gentianë Paçarizi. Panelists stressed that he financial dependence, traditional authority, Kosovo education system, are some of the issues considered as boundaries to forming critical thinking in Kosovar society. In regard to that youth is still somehow controlled by their parents.
