Culture and Art: Rapprochement and bridging differences

On Tuesday, March 14th 2017, the Tuesday Salon was held on the topic: “Culture and Art: Reshaping and Overcoming Distinctions”.

The informative and provocative openings were made by: Zoran Ristić, Director, GETO Theater in Gracanica, who said that cooperation between two societies is not common due to the political atmosphere that has been created for some time now. Culture and art are considered to be helping to release and open people and create a better climate of community coexistence in Kosovo. Eliza Hoxha, Architect emphasized that artists can put in place several processes, including the reconciliation process, using art and culture as co-operation initiatives. Zana Hoxha Krasniqi, Executive Director at Artpolis said art and culture in general prepare a cozy environment in which two or more people can agree. Politics does not allow space for the inclusion of ordinary people and for their good but personal interests is above the one of the people
