Youth activism plays an important role so that youth can positively change the reality in which they are living. Orientation in private sector, vocational schools, youth initiatives were just some of the points discussed at the Salon with Youth: “Youth of Rahovec Municipality: How to Stimulate Youth Activism?“, held on 15th of November, in the Municipality of Rahovec.
The youth of Rahovec Municipality had the opportunity to get more information about the work that the Municipality has done to fufill their needs. During this discussion, the panelists emphasized that youth should have the will to undertake youth initiatives as their activism will encourage the municipality to provide support in these activities. Among the requests put forward by youth, special emphasis was placed on innovative learning methods where they were encouraged to present their ideas and opinions on these requests.
Part of the panel in this salon were: Fatmir Iska, Vice-Mayor, Municipality of Rahovec; Bjondina Kleqka, Director, Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sport; Elhame Berisha, Member, Youth Assembly – Rahovec as well as Hasan Përboqi, Director, Directorate for Protection and Rescue. This salon was moderated by Arbesa Morina, Member, Youth Assembly – Rahovec.
