In order to identify the needs of youth and discuss the challenges and opportunities to address these needs, the Tuesday Salon with the topic: “Youth of Lipjan Municipality: What are the challenges and opportunities for addressing their needs?”, was held in the Municipality of Lipjan.
The youth of this municipality had the opportunity to express their demands and to know more about the work that the municipality has done to fulfill their needs. During this discussion, among other things, the lack of youth centers was emphasized as a problem. Participants expressed as a demand to organise more activities for youth, as this would provide more involvement of them and would result in a more active youth in Lipjan Municipality.
Part of the panel in this salon were: Fauz Xhemajli, Vice-Mayor, Municipality of Lipjan; Bekim Shabani, Director, Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sport as well as Shqiponjë Bresa, Coordinator, Hope Group while moderated by Rinor Krasniqi, Information Officer, NGO ICDC.
