The Health Sector: Vaccination Capacities against Covid-19

Today, on March 23, D4D Institute organized the Tuesday Salon discussion on the topic: “The Health Sector: Vaccination Capacities against Covid-19.”

As part of the panel were: Sami Uka, Chief Executive Officer, Family Medical Center; Hana Xhemajli, Researcher in the field of global health policies and Ilir Tolaj, Infectologist.

During the salon, the panelists discussed about the key challenges and problems of the health sector amid the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular, the possibility of securing vaccines and immunization. The panelists further discussed mismanagement and political influence in health institutions, and recommended concrete steps on how to manage the pandemic situation taking into consideration the formation of the new government.
