Are Kosovan Companies ready to become suppliers for the German Industry?

In order to identify the opportunities and challenges of Kosovar companies as suppliers for the German market, the salon with the topic: “Are Kosovan Companies ready to become suppliers for the German Industry?” was held.

Part of the panel in this salon were: Nora Hasani, Managing Director, The Kosovo-German Business Association (KDWV); Amir Musliu, General Manager, Elsam Company such as Egzon Kadriu, Producing Chief, CNC Noll. The salon was moderated by Albulena Mavraj, Economic Journalist, Epoka e Re.

During this discussion, particular emphasis was placed on encouraging Kosovar companies to produce products that could be exported to the German market. At the same time, the German guaranteed market was highlighted as a priority, where being a supplier for a German Company lasts for a long period of time.

The panelists discussed about the new technological investments they have made in their companies, which have given business another direction, such as empowerment in international services. Also the long-term partnerships directly affect the increase of the labor force. As a disadvantage was emphasized the hesitation of young people for orientation in vocational schools where according to panelists a reform in the vocational education system is needed.
