On 12 June 2018, Democracy for Development held its regular Governing Board meeting. The Board approved narrative and financial reports of D4D for the year 2017, and reviewed the plan of action for the next six months. In the meeting Board elected Ms. Ardiana Gashi as the new Board Chairwoman for a two-year mandate, as well as elected the new Board member Mr. Fitim Mulolli. The Board also discussed the future plans of D4D and its new strategy.
