During the discussion in Lipjan Municipality on the Tuesday’s salon with the topic “Youth of the Municipality of Lipjan: How involved are they in activities and how much support do they gain from the Municipality?” Various activities and projects were highlighted in which the Municipality of Lipjan is continuously working on so as to integrate as many young people into decision making and at the same time to meet their needs on a daily basis. On the other hand, the young people present in the discussion emphasized some concerns and demands for the fulfilment of certain conditions which would help them operate more easily and as a result strengthen them.
However, the panelists and participants agreed that greater commitment on both sides is needed, greater work by the local government, as well as awareness and willingness of young people to push forward stronger initiatives and cooperation. Part of the panel in this discussion held on October 09, were Shkelzen Hajdini, Director, Directorate of Economy and Development, Lipjan Municipality; Muhamet Qeriqi, Senior Researcher of Local Government, POLIS NGO; Rinor Murati, Chair, Youth Assembly of Lipjan.
