Youth in Kosovo: Oriented towards vocational or university education?

On Monday, 15th of May 2017, a Youth Salon in Skenderaj was held under the topic: “Youth in Kosovo: Oriented towards vocational or university education?”

Opening remarks were delivered by: Xhevdet Lashaj, Deputy Director, Center of competence which is a vocational school. Here students still do not apply to attend it since they consider it will not help them find a job. Basri Jashari, Professor in “Hamëz Jashari” Gymansium mentioned that consisting in nowdays VET Students do have more chances in the labour market. Arbon Osmani, youth representative stated that despite the economic problems, youth should decide by themselves not being pressured from their parents.

This Salon was moderated from Xhevat Dervishi, Youth Public servant, Municipality of Skenderaj, and Op-ed will was written by Bahri Sejdiu, Journalist.
