On Tuesday, December 19th, the last Salon for 2017 was held on the topic: “How will the youth interests will be supported by young members of the municipal assembly of Prishtina?”
Panelists in this salon were Adrian Berisha from the Self-Determination Movement – LVV; Kushtrim Sopa from Democratic League of Kosovo – LDK and Leutrim Retkoceri from Democratic Party of Kosovo -PDK. For young people in Prishtina it is important that members of the municipal assembly who are young by age to protect the interests of youth and not just those of the party, which the members also agreed. Also, new members of the Municipal Assembly see the implementation of Youth Committee within the Municipal Assembly, important to enable them to function better and through this community young people to have a direct address to raise issues within the assembly.
