On 4th of July, the Tuesday Salon was held in Gjilan on the topic: “Unequal employment: Do we have local policies to activate women in the labor market?”
In this Salon Panelists stressed the importance of implementing central-level policies on local level. But given the lack of orientation of employment policies towards the potential that exists in cities, we have a high number of unemployment. Women in this regard because of patriarchy and not offering employment conditions choose not to work or search for a job. The local policies that have been approved have not been implemented and as such do not coincide with the education of inactive women.
