Pisa Test: Aim for superficial results or substantial change in education system?

The D4D Institute on May 8th held the Tuesday’s salon, with the topic:”Pisa Test: Aim for superficial results or substantial change in education system?”

The informative speech was done by Mrs. Arlinda Beka,  Political Adviser to the Minister’s Cabinet, MEST, who told that the results from Pisa Test 2015 were concerning and were treated seriously by MEST. Boris Scharlowski, Lead of CDBE Project, GIZ, he stressed how he was impressed by the reaction of the media and professors, but even more considering that this reaction in Germany was much bigger from parents and students that were part of this testing, while Mustafë Kadriu, Manager of “Pisa 2018” project, MEST, highlighted that for Pisa Test 2018, preparation was bigger than in the previous test.
