On May 5th, the next Salon in the municipalities of Kosovo has been held in Peja, on the topic “Shared parental leave: Are men willing to share this responsability?”

Opening remarks were delivered by: Islam Husaj, Head of the Municipal Assembly in Peja, who stressed that by not having parental leave to men discriminates them on a right which belongs to them as family members. Besim Shatri, SBASHK representative stressed that due to maternity leave, young women have less access to employment than men.
