On Wednesday, October 11th the Youth Salon was held the with youth from the Municipality of Viti with the topic: What changes do youth of Vitia need in their municipality?
Opening speeches were held by: Hasan Aliu, Deputy Mayor of Vitia; Sadie Lutfiu, Head of the Local Youth Action Council in Viti and Tefik Salihu, representatives from civil society. Panelists stressed that in their municipality of Viti young people face many problems due to lack of proper economic development. The first demand of young people has to do with the opening of new jobs and the second one on increasing the number of different activities with young people that will help their further development. Also the need for internships and vocational training in order to help their employment.
This salon was moderated by Emrush Azemi, youth public official in Vitia Municipality, and the editorial was written by Tefik Salihu.
