Two-day workshop on activating inactive women in the labour market in Mitrovica

In the course of the workshops in the municipalities across Kosovo, Democracy for Development Institute (D4D) on 29th and 30th of June was in Mitrovica to hold a two-day workshop as part of the project “Women for Development: Activating Inactive Women in the Labor Market”.

The high number of participants, with over 40 women representing non-governmental organizations, businesses, gender equality officials, as well as local assembly members, from Mitrovica, Vushtrri and Podujeva, signals the importance of discussing the shared concern of women of this region concerning the indispensable role of women in the labour market. This workshop seeks to identify the needs according to the specifics and demands of the labor market in Mitrovica region and recommendations on developing strategies for activating women in the labor market in this region.
